Dr. Israel Puterman received his DMD from Boston University in 2002. He then attended Loma Linda University, where he received two post-graduate certificates in 2008: one in Implant Dentistry and one in Periodontics, as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry. He maintains a private practice in Chevy Chase, MD that focuses on dental implants and soft tissue grafting, using 3D microscopy.
Dr. Puterman is an author in various journals, including the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Journal of Prosthodontics, and lectures and teaches courses on ridge augmentation. He is also the recipient of awards by the California Society of Periodontists, the Western Society of Periodontists, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and has been honored by colleagues as a Best of Washingtonian Periodontist since 2011.
Matthew J. Fien, DDS,

Dr. Matthew J. Fien graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2006. He received his specialty training in periodontics from Nova Southeastern University and his diplomate status from the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in 2009. He has published articles in various dental journals, including the Journal of Periodontology, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry and more.
He lectures throughout the country on bone grafting techniques and all aspects of implant dentistry and teaches a hands-on guided bone regeneration course, which he developed. Dr. Fien is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration and maintains a private practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
