TRI Matrix restorative steps case #13, demonstration of a novel exclusively digital restorative protocol without using an abutment:
Following a standard delayed loading surgical two-months protocol, a TRI Matrix 4.1 x11 was restored with a PMMA intermediate screw retained printed crown directly at implant level, without the use of an abutment (photos at the time of provisional crown placement).
An exclusively digital workflow was applied in restoring this case.
Following a digital impression using intraoral scanning, the STL file was sent to the specialized dental lab, where the provisional PMMA crown was printed and shipped back, the next day, to the dental office.
Final, CAD CAM restoration will be provided after soft tissue remodeling and aesthetic assessment will take place.
(also photos of stage one, which was: Extraction of the impacted tooth #13 three months prior to implant placement. The treatment plan included removal of the deciduous tooth #13 and simultaneous guided placement of a novel Matrix Bone Level Implant.)
