Basic Course in PRF Aesthetics

2 Day Practical Course

The course objective is the introduction to facial aesthetics as a means to improve the patient’s overall appearance, and is not limited to their dental condition. It is going to analyze the aging and anti-aging concept and the materials that can be used, such as fillers, botulinum toxin, PDO threads and chemical peels.

It is also going to describe the indications and contra-indications, as well as their complication management. It is going to focus in the biology and clinical applications behind utilizing blood derivatives and especially PRF liquid formulations in facial aesthetics.

CLEOPATRA TECHNIQUE (TM) (with the use of i-PRF & A-PRF liquid) constitutes an innovative method for skin rejuvenation and augmentation that can be safely and easily used in every-day practice, with a maximum cost/benefit ratio for both the physician and the patient.

Healthcare professionals have successfully incorporated growth factors in their practices, often in conjunction with other modalities such as hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin injections, PDO threads, chemical peels, lipotransplant and laser treatments.

The course will be taught over a period of 2 days and is going to be held by Dr. Cleopatra Nacopoulos, the inventor of CLEOPATRA TECHNIQUE (TM) and the leader in facial aesthetics in dentistry by using Joseph Choukroun’s PRF liquid. Also, Dr. Kalliopi Gouskou, leading Molecular Biologist with specialization in Aging and Nutrition Genetics, is going to participate by analyzing the relationship between aging and facial aesthetics.

FIRST DAY

Theoretical part 09:00 – 13:30

• Aging – Anti-aging (aging and nutrition genetics)
• Anatomy & histology of skin and lips
• Wound healing – regenerative medicine
• Facial aesthetics in dentistry (hard and soft tissue augmentation)
• Materials (Hyaluronic acid, botulinum toxin, PDO threads, chemical peels)
• Injection techniques (microneedling, micro-papular, linear etc.)
• Complications management
• Biological background and clinical indications of all blood derivatives protocols
• In depth analysis of PRF applications ( face, hair, joints, ulcers, scars etc.)

Practical part 14:30 – 18:00

• Theory and training in phlebotomy ( tips & tricks)
• Hands-on practice in different techniques using various materials and PRF liquid
• Live model demonstration of CLEOPATRA TECHNIQUE (TM) (i-PRF & A-PRF)
• Live model demonstration with PRF and Hyaluronic acid

SECOND DAY

Theoretical part 09:00 – 12:00

“Stay young with your own blood”

• How to perform photo documentation and choose the proper equipment
• Clinic preparation and stuff training
• Preparation of the skin before treatment (cosmecuticals)
• Combine PRF with various materials and lasers
• Indications/Contraindications
• Marketing in dentistry (site, portfolio, brochures etc.)

Clinical Part 12:00 – 18:00

• Hands-on practice in phlebotomy and all PRF protocols
• Preparation of skin before all aesthetic treatments- post treatment instructions
• Live model demonstration – CLEOPATRA TECHNIQUE (TM)
• Hands-on practice in human patients (all injection techniques)
• Practice among the participants
